Short for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the BAFTA Awards are Britain’s answer to the Oscars, and the event is among the most widely recognized award shows around the world.

This year, the 74th BAFTA Film Awards will take place on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the Royal Albert Hall in London at 9 p.m. GMT. BBC One will broadcast the BAFTAs live, while BBC America will show it on the same day at 9 p.m. in U.S. time zones (8 p.m. Central Time).
